Agency for Legislative Initiatives is one of the leading think tanks in Ukraine. It was founded in 2000 on the initiative of alumni of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
The Agency has extensive experience in implementing projects aimed at ensuring public involvement in the legislative process.
Based on its long-term monitoring of the Parliament’s work and studying the problems of Ukrainian parliamentarism, the Agency for Legislative Initiatives puts forward proposals for improving the efficiency of the Verkhovna Rada using the best European and international practices.
The sphere of the interests of the ALI team encompasses electoral law, activity of political parties, fight against corruption, social policy, freedom of speech, and local self-government.
