The Parliament is the supreme representative and legislative body of the state. In addition to the main functions of the parliament – legislative, representative, supervisory, founding, publicity and legitimacy, an important function is also educational.
For parliamentary civic education, parliaments choose new channels of communication and modern methods of submitting information – placing information directly on the Parliament’s website in the text or graphic form, in the form of animated short content videos, online courses, comics, games, and social networks. In addition, the websites of parliaments are reflected not only in the state language but also in the most widely spoken foreign languages.
The preparation of Info Briefs is part of the project embodied by the Agency for Legislative Initiatives, supported by the USAID Rada Program: Responsible Accountable Democratic Assembly, implemented by the East Europe Foundation.
